Tiberino is the name of our family that appeared on the sign of a specialty grocery store in the heart of Bari in 1888.

Our company is the natural continuation of the Tiberino family's four-generation journey.
It all began at the end of the 19th century, when the founder, Nicola Tiberino, opened the business in a small shop on Via Vallisa, in the historic center of Bari.
After a few years, his sons, Raffaele and Tommaso, joined their father, and the business soon grew into a historic food wholesaler. In the early post-war years, Raffaele's son, Nicola, joined the company and expanded its operations throughout Europe, quickly transforming the business into an import-export company of specialty foods. In 1999, with the entry into the family business of Nicola's son, who, according to tradition, bears the name of his grandfather Raffaele, the company added to its selection of typical products by producing its own line of high-quality dehydrated first courses: Primi Tiberino.

In pursuit of our goal of promoting the best of Italian cuisine and flavors, becoming ambassadors of taste and Italianness around the world, we have the honor of having brought the good name of Italian cuisine to the stars, preparing, since 2007, meals for astronauts on joint international missions between NASA, ESA, and ASI.

From this unique experience was born OUTFOOD, the first line of dehydrated prepared meals for outdoor use made in Italy.

After more than 100 years of work and experience in a small shop in the historic center of Bari, we have now reached the most distant markets and even the stars! Today, the Tiberino brand is known and appreciated by consumers most attentive to quality and the pursuit of true Made in Italy.
